The Baltimorim formed in 2016 to provide music for holidays and events at Hinenu: The Baltimore Justice Shtiebl. Since then, we have evolved to become a regularly performing ensemble and community resource for those looking to learn more about the klezmer music tradition.

Folks learn about the klezmer tradition by playing in our community band, then share the goodness by gigging at simchas, holidays, and other events around Baltimore. All money from performance gigs are then pooled to bring in guest artists, who lead workshops & concerts that are open to the public. That means if you hire us for your wedding or b'nai mitzvah, your money goes right back into the community!

Our core activities include:

• Weekly evening rehearsals for our performing ensemble
• Performing for holidays, events, weddings, b'nai mitzvahs, etc.
• Open community jams
• Workshops and performances by visiting artists
• Yiddish dance parties!
